Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. If you use AutoPoster for a dealership or other business, you confirm you’re authorized to accept these Terms for that business, and “you” includes that business.

AutoPoster is a tool that runs inside your own web browser. When you tell it to, it reads vehicle inventory from a dealer website you choose, and helps you create, publish, and maintain vehicle listings on Facebook Marketplace and in Facebook groups you belong to. You direct what it does; AutoPoster acts on your behalf, in your own signed-in browser sessions.

• Keep your password secret and your account details accurate. You’re responsible for everything that happens under your account.
• Tell us promptly at support@autoposter.tech if you think your account has been used without your permission.
• You connect the extension to your account by approving a one-time code. You’re responsible for the browsers and devices you connect, and you can disconnect them at any time from your dashboard.

• What costs credits. Scraping vehicles from dealer websites uses credits. The current rate is shown at autoposter.tech/#pricing and in your dashboard. Publishing listings, sharing to groups, and removing sold listings do not cost credits.
• Buying credits. You add credits in the top-up amounts we offer. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Commas (FanBasis). We don’t receive or store your full card details.
• Price changes. We may change prices or top-up amounts going forward. Changes don’t affect credits you’ve already bought. Credits don’t expire.
• Re-scans. Reading the same vehicle again within the free window shown in your dashboard isn’t charged again.
• Taxes. Prices don’t include taxes. You’re responsible for any taxes that apply to you.

Because credits are delivered to your account right away, purchases are generally non-refundable except where required by law or at our discretion. If a charge was clearly in error, or credits weren’t delivered, contact support@autoposter.tech within 30 days and we’ll make it right. If we grant a refund, the related credits are removed from your balance.

You are responsible for what you post and for following the rules of every site you use AutoPoster with. You agree that you will:

• Only scrape inventory from websites you own or are authorized to use, such as your dealership’s own site, and respect those sites’ terms.
• Follow Facebook’s and Meta’s terms, Commerce Policies, and community standards, including their rules on automation, posting frequency, and vehicle listings. AutoPoster helps you post, but you are responsible for staying within Facebook’s rules, and for your Facebook account.
• Post only accurate vehicle information and prices, and only vehicles you’re authorized to sell.
• Comply with all laws that apply to you, including advertising, consumer-protection, and auto-sales laws.

You will not use AutoPoster to post content that is illegal, fraudulent, misleading, infringing, or harmful, to spam, to scrape data you have no right to, or to get around a platform’s security or access controls. You will not resell, copy, reverse-engineer, or try to extract the source of the Service except where the law says that can’t be restricted.

AutoPoster is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc., any dealer-website provider, or any other platform. Facebook and Marketplace are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc. Those platforms set their own rules and can change them, limit accounts, or remove content at any time. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their actions, including if a platform limits or disables your account. AutoPoster includes pacing and safety features to reduce that risk, but can’t guarantee any outcome on a platform we don’t control.

Your vehicle data, photos, descriptions, and listings are yours. You give us a limited license to process them only to provide the Service to you, such as reading them from a dealer site and placing them into a listing. We don’t claim ownership of your content.

We work to keep the Service running but don’t promise it will always be available or error-free. We may add, change, or remove features, and the extension relies on dealer websites and Facebook, which can change their pages at any time and temporarily break scanning or posting until we update. We may suspend or stop the Service, in whole or in part, with reasonable notice where practical.

You can stop using AutoPoster and delete your account at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, that we reasonably believe is being used unlawfully or to harm others or a platform, or where we’re required to by law. If we close your account for a reason that isn’t your breach, we’ll refund unused purchased credits where reasonable.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We don’t warrant that the Service will meet your needs, that posts will stay up, that you’ll sell more vehicles, or that your platform accounts won’t be limited.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, AUTOPOSTER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST SALES, OR LOST DATA, OR FOR ANY LIMITATION, SUSPENSION, OR LOSS OF A FACEBOOK OR OTHER PLATFORM ACCOUNT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 3 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. Some places don’t allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

You agree to defend and indemnify AutoPoster against claims, losses, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms or of a platform’s or website’s rules.

We may update these Terms. If we make a material change, we’ll give notice by email or in the dashboard before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Courts located in Florida will have exclusive jurisdiction, unless your local law requires otherwise.
